Church History

The first service was held on February 27, 2000, with 7 families present.  On March 20, 2000, we were official as Rivers of Living Water Ministries Inc. with the state of Ohio and received our corporation papers.

After hearing about a church building at 604 Howland Street in Fremont in April 2001, securing a loan at the bank in June, and taking possession of the property in July, we finally signed the loan papers in November 2021.

Since our congregation began growing, in 2007 we decided to build on to our present building.  The work began in August and our first service in our new sanctuary was held on January 6, 2008.  On May 5, 2019, Bishop Robert L. Jones was elevated to an Apostle by Apostle Ron King of Toledo, Ohio.

Over the years, Rivers of Living Water has become known in the Fremont community.  Bishop Stephen Llewellyn was instrumental in organizing the May Street Outreach and initiated the men and women to get involved with the Farmers Market by promoting “Good News on the Street.”

At the leading of the Holy Ghost on October 27, 2024, Apostle Robert L. Jones and Lady Joyce Jones relinquished the position of pastor over Rivers of Living Water Cathedral.  They will remain the Apostle and overseer over the organization of Rivers of Living Water Ministries International, Inc.; however, the Lord had raised up a couple in the church – Rev. Stephen & Rev. Natalie Dagg to be the next Senior Pastors.

As of October 2025, the corporate headquarters for Rivers of Living Water Ministries International, Inc., has licensed or ordained 107 ministers across the United States and in Trinidad and Tobago we have licensed or ordained 10 ministers.  At the same time, 11 Bishops were consecrated under the banner of Rivers of Living Water Ministries International, Inc.  Ten of them located in the United States and one in the country of Trinidad and Tobago.

This is truly a Divine move of God!
